Welcome to Cakes by Caroline! As a local bakery based in Elgin, IL, I provide fresh, delicious, and from-scratch party cakes for all occasions, all baked and decorated in my home kitchen. Bringing happiness to others on their special day is my main goal, and that brings me joy! Cakes aren’t just cakes—they bring families and friends together to enjoy and celebrate each other! I work hard to bring your vision come to life.

About the Owner
Hi!
I’m Caroline, the owner, baker, and decorator of Cakes by Caroline! Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved baking desserts and decorating them. Why not start a business doing what I love?
I have a bachelor’s degree in small business management and fashion design, which has helped immensely in building this bakery business.
I did not go to culinary school, yet I have years of hands-on experience in the kitchen making basic staples such as cookies and cupcakes to more complex pastries like croquembouche and macarons. By watching my parents and grandparents bake and helping them, I learned so much!
I’m excited to see where this takes me!
